OQO Model 01 UMPC

The first model OQO released was named for lack of creativity, the OQO Model 01 UMPC.

This model was one of the pioneers of UMPCs, and was rumored way before any real working prototypes were shown. Many believed that this was what is commonly known as vaporware due to the lack of hard evidence that such a product existed or was in the works. OQO finally released a working prototype in the fall of 2004. At the time, the computer shipped with copies of Windows XP, and featured a 1 GHz processor.
